City of Douglasville


Douglasville is the county seat for Douglas County and is nicknamed "The Dynamic City". The city was established on February 25, 1875. The city's downtown district is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The majority of the buildings are one and two story brick structures from the mid-19th century into the mid-20th century.

Annually, Douglasville hosts numerous festivals and events including Taste of Douglasville, the Fourth of July Parade, the Halloween Road Race and Christmas on the Plaza.
